Minecon 2013, the third annual Minecraft convention will take place in Orlando, Florida, from November 2 - 3, with tickets and hotels available in July.

Minecon 2012 was held at Disneyland Paris in November. It attracted 7,000 people. The previous year it had also opened a shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2011 event attracted 5,000 attendees, and it included impressive scale models of real-life Minecraft beasts including a 40-foot Enderdragon.
